My mother was a big flower lover. I can’t remember when she didn’t have some sort of blooms planted.
When we were living in the Midwest we had a gigantic lilac bush that was just amazing. When we lived in the far east, she had massive amounts of orchids that just thrived in the dry and humid heat. At her home at the lake, gorgeous planters of color were everywhere. In every home she always had gorgeous flowers and plants.
She passed the love of beautiful flowers on to me. I wish I could grow them like she did but unfortunately I am not as diligent or talented as she. However, I do love amazing flowers.
A few weeks ago, I was at my friends home and she has an amazing location that just allows for gorgeous flowering plants. I just had to take some photos of her gorgeous orchids.
Signs of spring are bursting out at her home. I just love it. These are only a few of the ones she has on her porch. There’s plenty more inside too. Such beauty in these delicate blooms.
