I have always loved to travel. I moved so many times in my life, starting at the age of eight. It was always an adventure and it opened my eyes to so many different things in life. I am thankful to be able to pass that love of travel on to my son who is starting his own journeys.
This summer my husband and I took a long trip across the country by car and there is always so much to see. Traveling by car is fun!
This trip took us through the countryside of Nevada and Idaho and rising up from out of nowhere are the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This lovely image shows off the summer snow on the mountains. Even with the blazing hot sun of over 90 degrees, the snow is testimony to how our weather works!
There is always something to see and enjoy on the road!
