One of the things you find out when working from home is that your time is pulled in many different directions. Planning your day and focusing on the tasks that need to be done first can be difficult when everything seems to be a priority.
Joyce Meyer has released a new book called Seize the Day where she talks about living life on purpose and making every day count. That’s not just important in our business life but also in our daily life too. Here are my thoughts on this great book I was able to review.

Thoughts About Seize The Day by Joyce Meyer
I am really enjoying this book. She talks a lot about our daily choices in life not only for the fact that we have free will but with that comes a big responsibility of choosing properly in our faith filled life. This goes for everything we do both in our actions and choices.
The author goes through many chapters about living our day with purpose and the rewards of making the right choices so that we make each day count. And, of course, living our day with God is one of the choices we have to make too.
The best part of this book for me is where Mrs. Meyer talks about becoming an on purpose person by scheduling our life for balance, relaxation, and enjoyment. That not only makes us healthy and happy, but allows for the enjoyment of life that God expects of us.
I’m sure you’re like me and you’re probably thinking how can it be September already? Where’s the time gone? And one of the things I realize is that we make our own schedule and therefore we can change a lot of it too. We deserve the rest and relaxation because God does not want us to be worn out and miserable. The author shows us how we have to take control to make our lives richer in the things that matter!
I love her chapters on ways to avoid wasting my time, on how to seize the day, on scheduling and planning through with your plan. She also has many many more chapters on how to live your life with a plan and a purpose, and helping to take charge of your own life.
While while we think we may have it all together, as we know life gets away from us and this book is a wonderful resource to help us live life with purpose and live life the way God has intended. So by learning to control our day we will have the time to live a beautiful life, just as God intended.
My hubby needs to read this book and believe me, it will be passed on!
