It’s the dog days of summer and when the heat just gets to you there is nothing finer than to relax and unwind with a sparkling glass of a cooling yet lower calorie cocktail.
I love sharing fabulous recipes with you and today I have two delicious cocktails that you can whip up in a matter of minutes. One uses bourbon and the other vodka and they both are crafted using summery light flavors of Sparkling Ice, the low cal flavored waters you can find at any grocery store.
These waters are perfect for sipping on their own or blending with juices or liquor for an amazing taste. Why not try one of these delicious cocktail recipes? The vodka lemonade sounds awesome and I am definitely adding the ingredients to my shopping list for the weekend!

2 Summer Refresher Cocktail Recipes
Sparkling Cherry Bourbon Cocktail Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
· 4 cherries, pits removed
· 1½ ounces bourbon
· 1 tsp. simple syrup
· ½ oz. fresh lemon juice
· Sparkling Ice Essence of Peach
DIRECTIONS:
Muddle 4 cherries at the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add bourbon, simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice- shake. Strain cocktail into a rocks glass and add sparkling water. Garnish with a lemon twist and serve.
Sparkling Watermelon Vodka Lemonade Cocktail Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
· 3 cups seedless watermelon pieces
· 3 lemons, juiced
· ½ cup vodka
· ¼ cup fresh mint
· 2 cups Sparkling Ice Essence of Lemon Lime
DIRECTIONS
In a blender, puree the watermelon and lemon juice, strain through a sieve into a drink pitcher. Add mint, vodka, and Essence of – then stir. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint.
