Have you ever thought about dancing for fitness but never did because you felt like you did not know the moves? Several years ago I used to go to Jazzercise and loved it! I always did feel a bit clumsy as I did not know the steps or anything. But I finally got with it after several weeks and really began enjoying it plus I could feel the difference too.

Today there are so many more avenues that we have to workout. My Thoughts on Dance Yourself Fit

This dvd shows you moves that will slim, tone, and sculpt with a serious total body workout. A burlesque inspired aerobic exercise video that is fun, low impact, and results oriented that works your abs, legs, booty, and arms. It is a fun dvd that will get you sweating!

The DVD includes:
Warm-up
Shoulders
Chest
Isolation
Hips
Slides and dips
Choreography

The Warm-up includes hip movements, arms, shoulders, and twists that looks like the beginning of dance movements. You will be warmed up after this part!

The workout include loads of waist and abs work with thigh building as well. Amazing workout with movement like you would see in hula or Polynesian dance. I love the smooth and graceful movements that really works your muscles. Plus a few burlesque type moves to add in a spark of creativity and smiles.

Michelle walks you thru each movement slowly and one step at a time. You can really practice each movement until you get it. About 45 min in length.

The Choreography part brings all of the steps into a dance workout you can learn and workout to anytime. About 25 min.

A cool dvd that allows you to learn new moves and get your sweat on too! Maybe I can be graceful at dancing some day!

Tone and Tighten: A Total Body Workout

Tone & Tighten utilizes hand weights (or soup cans!), resistance band exercises, and floor work to target the entire body. After each muscle group is worked, through high repetition using a small range of motion, it is alternately stretched to elongate the muscles.

T&T creates muscles that are toned and lengthened, not big and bulky. After just a few weeks your legs will look leaner, your butt will look firmer, your abs will become stronger, and your shoulders, arms and chest will become defined. Michelle shows you the correct method for each movement and the thoroughness along with her love of the exercise shows though. I learned several new moves that I have started incorporating into my workouts!

  1. They offer pole dancing classes! I’m too fat, I’d probably break a pole but it would still be fun to try!

  2. I learned that the fitness program is very versatile and cover many different types of dancing and reasons for dancing.

  3. Their poles have no weight limit and The X-Pert poles are professional grade poles that are VERY stable. Very cool!
