I am always on the lookout for wonderful workouts that not only touch you physically but also work on a peaceful mind. Working out is supposed to relax and de-stress you, not the opposite. I had the pleasure of reviewing an amazing fitness dvd that has managed to combine many different workouts into one for a workout like non other. In Light of Change with Julie Rammal is the fitness workout that is part of the JSport official Fitness Outlook. Julie provides help online and in person offering expert holistic sessions and consultations on topics and needs for your body such as:

Ayurveda, Alternative and complimentary medicine, Anti-aging, Personal training, Pilates, Fitness, Detox, Nutrition, Weight loss, Movement therapy, Yoga, Pilates, Sound and Crystal therapy and much more.

My Thoughts on In Light of Change with Julie Rammal

The beginning is a peaceful travel to get ready for a lovely stress-free workout. Just listening to the graceful music and the quiet voice Julie imparts, you know you are up for a lovely time. The scenery is amazing and the warm-up in Tibetan Rituals in yoga will get you ready for this dvd but is perfect to use anytime you need to relax and let go.

The Dvd is set up so you can use it from one workout to the next or you can jump by chapter and focus on particular workout. Julie does move through the poses and exercises somewhat quickly but understand that we will not be moving as fast as she does in the beginning and we will soon be right with her. The sequence of the moves are graceful and you will be building strength and targeting muscles you thought were forgotten.

As someone who works out with weights, all of these exercises and sequences are perfect for building muscles that I need to work on. My favorite chapter is the Cardio Boxing and Cardio Stretch. Perfect for warming up before my weights.

The entire DVD is a gorgeous blend of workouts that anyone can do. Granted some in the yoga sequences will be a work in progress but they are not difficult and Julie walks us through them perfectly. The cool down is a lovely way to end the workout feeling great about everything you accomplished.

Overall, I love this DVD. It is a perfect blend of strength and exercises for your body and mind. Fabulous!
