* You should never store your cosmetics in extreme temperatures which means not in extreme heat or extreme cold. * You should never store your cosmetics in direct sunlight which can cause them to melt, discolor or fade.* Never add water to any of your liquid cosmetics to get them to “last longer” or to “thin them down” as adding water can cause bacteria growth. It just is not worth the risk!* Always wash your hands before applying cosmetics and immediately afterwards. If you have bacteria and germs on your hands and fingertips you just transferred that to all of your cosmetics that you touched.* Bathrooms are typically very moisture-rich and usually contain high levels of humidity. All of these can cause your cosmetics to go bad quicker. Store your cosmetics in a drawer, bag, or container or on a vanity top that is not located in your moist bathroom. * You would never share your toothbrush with others and guess what? You should never share your cosmetics or skin care products with others either. Sharing or passing around your beauty products with other people allow for cross-contamination of germs.* If you recently had a cold or infection you should toss out any lip care products that you used prior and during that infection. The same thing goes for eye care products if you recently had an eye infection too!Take good care of your cosmetics by properly storing them and using cleanly habits. Your products will last and you will know that you are applying cosmetics that have not been compromised to your skin. This will insure your skin looks fabulous all the time.
