Farmhouse Christmas by Melissa Bahen

Is it ever too soon to start thinking about Christmas and crafts?

Personally, I don’t think so. I used to make a lot of handmade items for Christmas, and I worked on them all year.

So for me, I don’t feel it’s ever too early to start working on a new project or to start planning your recipes for the holiday get-togethers.

Especially now, with football season in full swing, we can test a lot of these new recipes and be prepared from Thanksgiving through New Year’s.

Check out my thoughts on this new cookbook below.

I was thrilled to review the coolest book that’s packed with beautiful recipes for the holidays.

It’s broken down by category, like breakfasts and brunches, cookie plates, handmade sweets, holiday dinner, and beverages.

I love all the beverage recipes too. They all sound so delicious. You can probably plan your entire fall and holiday meals out of this recipe book.

Plus, there are some Christmas crafts and homemade gift ideas as a bonus. Included here are things like planters for your front porch and ornaments made out of birdseed, which is a perfect gift for neighbors. Even simmering spices for that homey feel.

This is a hardbound recipe book that is coffee table size. So no squinting trying to read the recipes. Plus, they include beautiful images for each one. It is quite beautiful and a great gift idea too.

I love the recipes the most. There is an assortment of fresh ideas mixed in with some old favorites. In the craft section, I would have liked to see more unique ideas; as a seasoned crafter, there were only a few new to me.

Overall, this is a beautiful edition with some lovely photos and ideas for your holiday festivities.
