I was introduced to this author a few months ago with her last release and I really fell for her stories and ability to captivate her reader.

She writes in a blend of romance and women’s fiction style so that you get a little taste of everything. This upcoming release that I am reviewing for you is a wonderful example of her storytelling abilities. Continue on for my thoughts.

OVERVIEW:
Salena Barone has broken free of her family and moved into an apartment above the D’Angelos’ restaurant, where she works as a manager―without a husband, thank you very much. But even on a restaurant salary, she soon finds herself strapped for cash. Salena’s never been afraid of living on the wild side, though, so she takes on a side hustle that’ll raise big bucks…and eyebrows, if anyone finds out.

Tattooed biker Ryan is the youngest of the wealthy Rutledge wine family and has never dreamed of rings, forever, or continuing the family business. He’s perfectly happy living his own life and helping out hardworking folks in his own way.

When these two independent singles spot each other at a Rutledge-D’Angelo wedding, the attraction is instant. But as their friendship with benefits evolves into something more, the secrets Salena’s keeping―from family, friends, and Ryan―threaten the happily ever after she never knew she wanted.

The Whole Time by Catherine Bybee Review

If you love stories with lots of family interaction, big family gatherings, and people getting into your business every time you turn around, then this is your story.

Part of a series about a big Italian family, this is a stand-alone read that blends in characters from some of the other books. Easy to follow and dive into, The Whole Time takes us on a journey of life in a close-knit family – sometimes too close!

The two main characters are each trying to break free of their individual family drama and find themselves intertwined more often than not. With big feelings growing and independence at the forefront, this growing romance is fun and sexy! A smoldering slow burn is the perfect description of the growing connection between Ryan and Salena. You cannot help but cheer them on!

Beautifully written, this family drama and steamy romance offers a lot of conversation, a few heated scenes, and a ton of heat and fire between the two that will leave you smiling and looking for more.

Bybee creates characters full of spunkiness and independence who balance each other beautifully. This book is one you can get lost in for hours! Well done!

5 STARS!!
