Thanksgiving is a wonderful tradition in our country. A day for family and fabulous food!
This year my Thanksgiving will look a lot different than other years. My son is not home and no other family surrounds us. So my husband and I are going to be cooking for others that are working.
We have many friends that work for police departments and this year we are cooking a 20lb bird for a friend and the department she works in. Smoking it first, then finishing it in the oven for time savings. Plus, all of the trimmings!
