I have to admit it has been quite a while since I have read a traditional Harlequin romance. I grew up on the stories when I was a teenager or you could buy them for a dollar or two.

Then years ago I discovered boxes and boxes and boxes of these romances in the garage of my husband‘s grandmother. She would buy and resell them for two or three for a dollar. I would take a banana box full, double stacked inside with a hundred or more of these stories and just read and read and read.

Fast forward to today and the basic structure of the stories are still the same. But am I loving to revisit and review a traditional story? You bet! Read on for my review on this upcoming book.

The good thing about these stories is that the structure is still the same so you know what you’re going to get. So I have to say when I dived into the story I was amused but thankful for a book that captured my attention, was well written, and even added a bit of spice that we don’t traditionally see unless you’re reading the Desire series.

The story is an engaging Insta-love that will give you the warm and fuzzies. The surrounding characters are fun and lighthearted and seem to be a family that you would want to be around. Even though this book is part of a series, the book can be read as a stand-alone. Yay, because these Westmoreland brothers are totally hot!

This cozy and warm story is just right for any time you want to escape reality. The right amount of sizzle and spice to keep you happy and begging for more from Jackson!
